ABOUT ANSOFF INSTITUTE
The Institute was established in 2000 to develop and extend Igor Ansoff's contributions in strategic management applicable in the 21st Century. His philosophy and thinking has been to prepare managers and organizations in dealing with the turbulence of the business environments. A lot of work has been developed, however practical applications and links to industry are scant.
The purpose of the Ansoff Institute is exactly that:
- To translate academic work to practical applications usable by industry, and
- To develop research and academic work to serve the needs and practical applications of industry.
In order to pursue the above, the Ansoff Institute engages in activities which:
- Establish links with business firms and non-profit organizations to obtain grants and sponsorship for research,
- Present conferences and seminars,
- Publish research results, and
- Establish cooperative relationships with industry.
The Ansoff Institute serves as an incubator of strategic thinking whereby research is fostered and practical applications are pursued.
